A Circle of Conversation
Women's Denderedzwa is a conversation platform by Nyimbo zaKwatu, created to bring together women creatives, professionals, entrepreneurs, and allies in a safe and inspiring space for meaningful dialogue. While Nyimbo zaKwatu has always celebrated music, culture, and creative expression, Women's Denderedzwa expands that vision by creating opportunities for women to connect, learn from one another, share experiences, and grow together.
More than an event, Women's Denderedzwa is a community built on listening, learning, collaboration, and mutual support.
Women's Denderedzwa officially launched on 13 May 2026 at Alliance Française de Harare, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Nyimbo zaKwatu. The inaugural gathering welcomed more than 100 women creatives and allies, representing a diverse range of fields including music, visual arts, media, storytelling, academia, legal practice, festival management, entrepreneurship, and the wider creative economy.
The atmosphere was one of openness, inspiration, and genuine connection as participants shared ideas, experiences, challenges, and aspirations.
